The University has two halls of residence allocated specifically to postgraduate and mature students who are based at Luton – James Court and Wellington Court. However, postgraduate students can also apply to live in any of our other accommodation blocks.
James Court is located in a quiet residential area, and is a designated hall for postgraduate students. This accommodation offers limited parking, and is approximately a 15 minute walk from the Luton campus. The James Court Halls of Residence offers a quieter living and study environment, and is close to a variety of shops including, Matalan and a Chinese food store. This Hall is also a 15 minute walk from the town centre, and the Mall Arndale.
Wellington Street is located in a residential area, and is a designated hall for postgraduate and mature students (aged over 25). So, if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town centre then this accommodation could be most suitable for you. This accommodation offers limited parking, and is approximately a 13 minute walk from the Luton campus. This Hall offers a quieter living and study environment, and is also close to a wealth of wonderful restaurants.
If you prefer to rent your own property, Luton has a good supply of
houses, flats and bedsits with costs significantly lower than in London.
