I am responsible for looking after all the Home Student Recruitment. Activities include working with staff across the University, liaising and developing links with key feeder institutions, delivering presentations to students and parents, overseeing and managing important recruitment events such as Open Days, Departmental and Generic Taster Days and Organising with the careers Service the Annual Bedfordshire Higher Education Fair. I lead on work with the Business School but oversee recruitment activities in the other three faculties.

My role within the recruitment team is to look after the Education & Sport Faculty. As a whole team we organise and front Applicant and Enquirer Open days, Inward visits and Taster Days. We also host the Higher Education Fair held at the Bedford campus in March.
Our other main responsibilities are visiting schools and colleges to deliver talks and offer advice on Higher Education, Personal Statements and the UCAS Process. This also includes guides for parents at parents evenings.
We also visit a range of UCAS, HE and School/College fairs where we meet prospective students and give vital information about the University of Bedfordshire.
Hello. I graduated in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in Media Studies and started working at the University of Bedfordshire in March 2009.
My responsibilities include liaising with Schools and Colleges, organising external and internal visits, and I am the dedicated recruitment assistant for the Business School. We as a team give help and advice to prospective students who are looking to go to University and support and guide them through the process of applying. We travel around to UCAS Events, Higher Education Fairs and Careers Fairs, where we give out information to students who are interested in the University of Bedfordshire.
I also help to organise and front the Applicant and Enquirer Open days throughout the year!

I graduated in 2007 with a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management; I worked at a recruitment firm for a year and a half before joining the University in March 2009.
My responsibilities include liaising with Schools and Colleges, organising external and internal visits. I am allocated to assist the Health and Social Sciences Faculty in recruitment activities. We as a team give help and advice to prospective students who are looking to go to University and support and guide them through the process of applying. We also travel around to UCAS Events, Higher Education Fairs and Career Fairs, where we give out information to students who are interested in the University of Bedfordshire. I also help organise and front the Applicant and Enquirer Open days throughout the year!
