Considering Higher Education Presentation – this presentation sets out to enthuse and encourage students to consider Higher Education and covers: selecting the right course and university; understanding the UCAS process; and making the most of UCAS/HE Fairs.
Student Finance Presentation – making the best use of all the financial support that is available: bursaries, scholarships, grants and loans.
Student Life Presentation – gives an insight into university life as a student, focusing on aspects such as finance, accommodation, social life, lectures and private study.
Personal Statement Presentation/ Workshop – how to write a successful Personal Statement to secure a place, where to start and what should and should not be included. For smaller groups this can be delivered as an interactive workshop, or for larger groups a presentation with a Q&A session at the end.
Student Discussion Groups – covering topics such as ‘what course do you want to study at university?’ and ‘what are your career aspirations?’. Incentives are available to encourage student participation.
Attendance at Parents’ Evenings – our team are available to offer support at Parents’ Evenings with presentations to provide further information about Higher Education and student finance.
UCAS Fair Preparation Sessions – provides students with handy hints and tips to prepare them for Higher Education fairs.
Specialist Tasters Days – hosted here at the University of Bedfordshire, enabling students to experience university life first-hand, sample lectures and seminars, as well as meeting current students. Academic sessions are delivered by specific course lecturers and give an overview of some of the key subject areas offered at degree level.
