PACE evaluation

The International Centre has been commissioned to undertake an evaluation of the 'Parents as partners in safeguarding children and young people in Lancashire' programme run by PACE (Parents Against Child Sexual Exploitation).

The three year programme (2014 – 2017) is funded by Comic Relief, enabling PACE to embed a parent support worker within the Engage and Deter multi-agency teams in Lancashire that are working to disrupt abuse, convict perpetrators and protect children who are at risk of child sexual exploitation (CSE).

The International Centre will evaluate the degree to which the three year programme achieves its objectives to: (i) increase parent/carer understanding and capacity to support children affected by CSE; (ii) support families through the judicial process; and (iii) enhance protection of children from CSE.
