Steven Conway
Steven Conway is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in New Media here at the University of Bedfordshire.
He is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches to his doctoral thesis on the socio-cultural implications of digital sports games, whilst his research interests varies between sociology, cultural and media analysis.
His latest research focuses on the ludic, and his concept of hyper and contra-ludicity.
Alison Gazzard
Alison Gazzard is currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in New Media here at the
University of Bedfordshire.
Her current research interests
include paths, journeys and time in
game spaces, location-based media, augmented reality games, and
understanding player:avatar relationships in virtual worlds.
As well as playing videogames, she likes to track journeys using GPS and is still trying to figure out how she feels about FourSquare.
