Step five - Your conditional offer letter

Your conditional offer explained

Your conditional offer letter explains exactly what you need to do to secure your place at the University.

Your student reference number will be written clearly on your conditional offer letter and you will need to include this in all aspects of correspondence to the University. It is very important that you keep the conditional offer letter safe and know your student reference number. You will also find specific information regarding the course you have been accepted to study, the duration of the course and the total cost of your tuition fees. Further information regarding how to pay your tuition fees can be found on the second page of the letter.

You must read your conditional offer letter very carefully. The conditions of your offer will be clearly stated on the letter. One condition that is included in all letters is ‘Pre-payment of 50% of your tuition fees’

If your tuition fees are to be covered by a sponsor (such as your government or an employer) please submit a document (normally a ‘Financial Guarantee’) to confirm this.

You may also have other conditions on your offer letter such as:

‘Provide clear copy of your current and valid passport details’

‘Provide a copy of your degree certificate’

In order to receive an unconditional offer from the University of Bedfordshire and obtain your CAS letter, you must meet all of the conditions of your offer.

Once you have met all of the conditions of your offer, including the minimum pre-payment of 50% of your tuition fees, you will be sent a CAS letter and unconditional offer letter, which are scanned and sent to your email address in the same way that your received your conditional offer letter.
