Step seven - Your CAS letter

Your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) letter and unconditional offer letter

Once you have paid the minimum of 50% (or more) of your tuition fees, you must notify the International Admissions team straight away by emailing international-admissions@beds.ac.uk

This will ensure that the International Admissions teams can proceed with your application as quickly and efficiently as possible. In the email please clearly state your name, student reference number, the amount that you have paid and the method of payment. This will help a member of the team locate your record and payment with ease.

Once the University processes your payment, the International Admissions team will issue you with a CAS letter and unconditional offer letter.

Your CAS letter is very important. It stands for Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS). Once you have your CAS letter you can apply for a student visa. You will need to use the CAS number at the top of the letter.

Your unconditional offer letter means that you have a firm place to study at the University of Bedfordshire. The document confirms that we have received your payment and that you have met the conditions of your offer. Please keep your unconditional offer letter safe as you must bring it with you to the UK and show it when you register at the University (although you do not need to use your unconditional offer letter to apply for your visa).
