Entry requirements for Ugandan students

ACADEMIC

Undergraduate Programmes

Bachelors Degree (3 years)
  • Students must have a minimum of  2 good "A" Levels or
  • COHSC or EAACE or ACSE : 2 grade D or higher plus
  • COSC or EACE or CSE in English and Maths at Grade C or above or
  • A minimum of 28 points in IB
  • Students with an HD or an HND may be offered entry with advanced standing

Postgraduate Programmes

Masters Degree (1 year)
  • Students normally need a minimum of lower second class honours degree. Exceptionally a third class honours degree will be accepted, notably when there is relevant work experience
Subject Area - MBA
  • Length of previous degree should be 3 or more years in any subject area
  • 3 or more years of full-time managerial work experience required
Subject Area - Advanced Computing
  • Students with a background in computing can be considered for MSc in Computing & Internet Applications
  • Students with high order programming skills can be considered for MSc Computer Science
Subject Area - Conversion Computing
  • Students with a non-computing background need to demonstrate some computing knowledge, e.g. diploma programme
  • Most appropriate programmes are the MSc in Applied Computing & IT
Research Degrees
  • All research applications should be referred to the University for a decision
