Important advice for applicants

The University does not currently have any authorised agents working with us in Zimbabwe.

  • We strongly urge you to correspond with the University directly and not to use the services of any agent claiming to work for the University or claiming to be able to organise a full scholarship for you.
  • We advise you to use your discretion regarding any organisation who claims someone else will pay your tuition fees. We are concerned these organisations are fraudulent and strongly recommend you to exercise extreme caution.
  • We have been in direct contact with the Research Council to ask if they did indeed pay for Zimbabwean students to study in the UK. This is the response that we received “The Research Council of Zimbabwe does not offer tuition fees to any one studying abroad or locally. It gives research grants to people doing research in Zimbabwe as of now.”
  • In order to obtain an unconditional offer from the University of Bedfordshire you will need to organise your own funding, unfortunately the University is not able to offer financial assistance.
  • One of the requirements for students applying for a student visa is that
"he is able to meet the costs of his course and accommodation and the maintenance of himself and any dependants without taking employment or engaging in business or having recourse to public funds."
Please take this into consideration when organising your funding for study.
