The International American University will offer an exclusive three year pre-med programme in affiliation with the University of Bedfordshire, which will guarantee (subject to successful completion) acceptance to the four year MD programme. You will be awarded a BSc degree (in either Biomedical Science or Biological Science) from the University of Bedfordshire, which provisionally qualifies you to enter the four year MD programme at IAU - College of Medicine.

IAU will send your University of Bedfordshire application form, a copy of your passport, your academic documents and your English language qualifications to the University of Bedfordshire. Your application to IAU will also be processed at this time.
The University of Bedfordshire International Admissions team will assess your application against the following criteria:
If you meet the requirements set out by the International Admissions team, the University of Bedfordshire will issue your acceptance letter to IAU. This will typically carry the condition of payment of 50% of the first year's tuition fees (other conditions may be included).
When you have been accepted on to the University of Bedfordshire BSc programme, IAU will invite you for an interview and provisionally accept you on to the four year MD programme if you are suitably qualified. You will then be issued with an acceptance letter.
IAU will advise you about how to pay your University of Bedfordshire tuition fees, as well as how to meet any other conditions of your offer. Once all of your conditions have been met, the University of Bedfordshire International Admissions team will issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) letter, which you can use to apply for a visa to enter the United Kingdom. All CAS letters will be issued to IAU, who will serve as the authorised point of contact for visa application and pre-enrolment queries.
