21 - year - old Abhinav Kalra decided to study for a Masters course after completing his B.Com degree from Delhi University, India. He chose to study at the University of Bedfordshire, as the fees very highly competitive and it was very close to London.
Abhinav was aware of the research led teaching in the UK and he thought it would be a good experience to undertake a course in the UK. He said, “ I found the Learning Resources and Electronic Blackboard facilities to be very useful as it was very easy to find information for my assignments and group presentations”. He also interacted with lecturers often and found them very helpful.
Abhinav is inspired to start his own business in the finance sector by the London - based billionaire steel tycoon, Mr. Lakshmi N Mittal, whom he considers as a role model. Abhinav is aiming to reach great heights in the finance industry. He wants to travel across the globe and gain international experience and build his networks before setting up his own business.
In his spare time Abhinav enjoys meeting new people and he likes to play cricket and enjoys travelling to London.
