- About Us
The University has launched a new split Masters degree in collaboration with the Nitte Center for Advanced Studies (NCAS).
Under the agreement NCAS Bangalore, a newly formed unit of Nitte Education Trust, will offer the MBA and the MSc in Computer Networking, leading to the award of degrees by the University of Bedfordshire. More academic programmes will be added in due course.
The Nitte - Bedfordshire agreement also calls for cooperation in the areas of joint research, faculty exchanges and collaborative projects.
The MBA and the MSc will follow closely the syllabus, course materials and evaluation schemes of the corresponding programmes offered at the University of Bedfordshire. The programmes at Nitte will be subject to the stringent quality assurance standards of the University of Bedfordshire.
Students will begin their studies in Bangalore, India, at the Nitte Center for Advanced Studies, and then progress to the Luton campus of the University of Bedfordshire.
For students, this will mean a seamless transition from India to the UK.
The University will also be providing placement assistance to Nitte students.
Students will have a unique opportunity for global careers in different parts of the world.
Upon completion of these postgraduate programmes, under current UK immigration rules, students can stay and work in the UK for a period of one year, during which time their employers can sponsor them for longer or permanent jobs in the UK or with their affiliates around the world.
