Overview

This is an intensive five-day training course and exam syllabus, which enables delegates to take the Foundation and Practitioner qualifications in just one week. Delegates must pass the foundation exam before proceeding to the practitioner exam.

On completion of the course the delegate will have:

  • Defined a project and learnt a structured approach to project management
  • Acquired knowledge of elements such as planning & risk assessment techniques
  • Distinguished between the processes, themes and techniques used in PRINCE2
  • Identified the terminology used in PRINCE2 Project Management
  • Applied PRINCE2 to a given scenario
  • Prepared for and taken the PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Examinations - an internationally recognised certificate improving their employability

All our courses can be delivered on site at your company premises, subject to a minimum number of delegates. Please ask for details.

Course duration

The course is five days in length, starting on a Monday, finishing on a Friday, 9am - 5pm. An additional 15-20 hours pre-course work is required plus there will be homework each evening as preparation for the exams you take. 

Certification

Delegates will undertake a one hour multiple choice Foundation examination on day three. This exam must be passed to go on to undertake practitoner level and the two and a half hour multiple choice Practitioner examination, taken on day five. All successful delegates will be awarded Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner status.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for the full Practitioner course, although it is recommended for practising project managers who are responsible for managing projects using PRINCE2, or considering using PRINCE2 for their next project.
