Enrolment for this initiative has now ended. We can only take applications on a waiting list basis, in case of cancellations. However there is the possibility of additional funding being made available for a new January cohort. If this would be of interest to you, we will place your name on a waiting list and will confirm as soon as possible whether funding has been made available.
Supporting Graduates in Employment is a project designed to up skill employed graduates and recently unemployed graduates (within six months of being made unemployed) in management and leadership skills, enabling them to transform businesses where they work or prepare recently unemployed graduates for the competitive job market. This is done by providing FREE training accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), complementing the University’s strong track record in management and leadership development.
Funded by the European Social Fund, Central Bedfordshire Council and Bedford Borough Council, the project will provide:
- an integrated package of training and development
- enrichment of work experience
- personal development planning
- advice and guidance for participants
Participants will undertake approximately 50 hours of face to face training and will be required to supplement that commitment with additional hours of independent learning, including work based tasks that will benefit participants and their company.
