Clive Haywood is an experienced business consultant who supports business leaders to improve their company’s performance across a range of commercial disciplines.

He is a partner in Resolve LLP – a leading UK consultancy firm that works with a range of high profile corporate clients in the UK and Europe, aiming to create outstanding enterprises.

Through his own business CHC Limited Clive also works closely with directors and their teams in many small-to-medium sized businesses across the east of England, supporting them in both business and people performance improvement initiatives.

In his role as the Knowledge Hub’s Principal Consultant  at the University Clive works as an executive mentor, and has already helped many directors of businesses across the county improve their company’s performance through development of clear strategies for success.

By providing businesses with focus, insightful ideas and guiding their teams on delivery, he has helped them achieve enhanced success and in return, received many tributes from delighted clients.

He also works with renowned industry leaders to create opportunities for entrepreneurs through facilitation of ‘Dragon’s Den’™ style business and investment readiness events.

Clive’s earlier career centred on sales and commercial development roles within major corporate leaders in the ICT industry. Following a rapid rise over five years in Texas Instruments, he moved to British Telecom where he held a number of senior management roles, setting up, managing and developing a range of their UK sales and marketing channels.

A number of these are still very successful multi-million pound businesses. During his latter years with BT, Clive took leading board level roles in a range of economic development programmes across the UK and in Europe. He worked closely with the newly created Regional Development Agencies and in 2004 he became executive chairman of the oxford2cambridge arc, a key European knowledge corridor.

Here he worked closely with a range of local, regional and national government education agencies along with private sector organisations and prominent universities to negotiate the delivery of the first phase of this challenging economic development and inward investment programme.

The range of management support services provided directly by Clive includes:

  • Leadership and Team Development
  • Business Visioning, Strategy and Planning
  • Marketing Channel Development
