- About Us
If you’re a qualified PRINCE2® project management practitioner, don’t let your qualification lapse! Every practitioner needs to re-register every three to five years to stay up-to-speed with the latest developments and best practices. The good news is that you can do it now with the Knowledge Hub.
Our new PRINCE2 Re-registration Course reviews methodology in just one day and concludes with an exam. Successful delegates will leave the course with a fully updated knowledge of the latest revisions to the PRINCE2 qualification and renewed Practitioner status.
The PRINCE 2 method has become the benchmark standard in project management. Our new re-registration course is an important extension of our project management portfolio which includes a range of intensive PRINCE 2 courses, from the Foundation Certification to the Practitioner and Conversion courses.
Courses will be available throughout the year at our Putteridge Bury Campus and where possible the Bedford and Milton Keynes campuses too. For more information, or to book your place on the course, please click here.
PRINCE2® is a Registered Trade Mark of the Office of Government Commerce in the United Kingdom and other countries
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be partnering London Luton Airport’s ‘Sourcing Sustainable Suppliers’ event; a great opportunity for local suppliers to meet buyers from Airport companies and network with other local businesses and sponsors.
To engage with local businesses and reinforce relationships with existing suppliers, LLA is holding the business networking breakfast on Wednesday 10th November at Putteridge Bury. The event will look at improvements to business efficiency, with advice available from Resource Efficiency East, as well as provide a chance to discuss recent developments in the aviation industry.
The University of Bedfordshire and the Knowledge Hub have long supported and promoted environmental sustainability in local businesses and we’ll be showcasing our work in this area. In 2008, the i10 Low Carbon Voucher offered Bedfordshire businesses £1,000 and a low carbon consultancy with the University, to fund and encourage sustainable, economic growth. We’ll have a guest from the Low Carbon SKTP Programme* on our stand to offer help to local companies.
The event will begin at 6:30 am and finish by 9:00 am on Wednesday 10th November. To book your place a minimum donation of £15.00 to Keech Hospice Care is required. For more information and to register (last registration 29th October 2010).

Luton Borough Council is inviting local businesses to a series of free seminars designed to provide a helping hand in identifying new clients and increasing turnover, at a time when many companies are facing financial difficulties. Each seminar will cover a different aspect of running a successful business in four key areas: IT, sales, marketing and growth. This will include advice on closing a sale, essential marketing tips and PR basics, and an overview of the ‘Private Sector Tendering’ process.
The Art of Search Engine Optimisation seminar – held on Thursday 7th October – guided businesses through the complex SEO maze and gave tips on ‘how to get to the top of Google and stay there’. The event was a great success and the remaining seminars are set to be equally as popular, so booking early is advised. The course dates and details are as follows:
Sales negotiations, how to close a deal and pushing a sale forward
Writing press releases, establishing media contacts and using effective PR in your business
Identifying business opportunities in the
Private Sector and how to write a successful bid.
