Poet and novelist Ben Okri OBE is keynote for International Reflective Practice Conference

We teach and learn through stories. The 16th annual conference from 23rd to 25th June is truly inter-professional. Reflective practice is a well-established technique in the nursing and teaching professions and is becoming more prominent in businesses, whether you’re an HR professional or a business owner there’s scope for you to use reflective practice in your work.  What unites the professions is a common interest in reflective practice as professional practice, professional development, education and research.

Literary giant Ben Okri OBE will be the keynote speaker at the event, along with Professor Jennifer Moon, Associate Professor at Bournemouth University and Kathleen Armour from the School of Education at the University of Birmingham.  To book your place and to find out more, click here.

Business Mastery

A number of courses throughout the University can help individuals to develop and businesses to up-skill their staff.

A new MSc in Project Management has recently been hailed as ‘progressive’ by top external academics as it combines basic project management theory with quality and risk management theory, as well as human resources and financial modules. The 14 students taking the course have recently successfully secured their PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner certificates through the Knowledge Hub. The internationally recognised PRINCE2 is taught at Putteridge Bury Conference Centre, or we can deliver the training at your workplace (minimum numbers apply).
