The successful Basics of Building a Business (B3) seminars are back with an exciting new format! The free seminars are shorter and more interactive and will be delivered each week by a business expert who has experience in setting up a business. They will be a mixture of theory, case studies and group exercises to ensure that the audience get the most out of each session. Each one hour seminar will cover a different topic each week and will focus on an important element of starting up a new business. The seminars will link directly with two University business competitions, the Business Concept Competition 2010 and the Business Plan Competition 2010. This year the programme will run for eight weeks in Luton from 14th October and then be repeated at the Bedford Campus. Click here for more information.
The University’s Theatre is opening for a second season in October and there are lots of great new performances coming up, from dance to comedy, and theatre to music. There will be some returning performers from the last season such as comedy sketchers The Great Brainers, who will be performing a new show. We’ll also be welcoming new acts, including the Khayaal Theatre Company. Family Theatre is being launched in October half term providing lots of fun for a younger audience with The Little Red Hen and Potted Pirates forming part of the line-up.
