If you’ve answered yes to the questions above then you’re eligible for business
support provided by Dr Wesley Randle BSc, PhD, MBA (Innovation Director, University of Bedfordshire) in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council.

Whether you have a great new idea, a business problem or any other issue, we’ll identify your need and either deal with it ‘on the spot’ or set out a framework and plan to work through it together.

If you meet our ‘High-Growth pilot 10’ criteria we will offer you the opportunity to sign-up to a 12 month support programme where subsidised support and services will be offered from a handpicked list of providers: The Central Timebank.

Each Business Growth Clinic slot has a value of £250 but is provided free of charge through support from Central Bedfordshire Council’s business support programme.

Booking

In order to book a session:

The business or social enterprise must be between 1 and 5 years old on 1st April 2011. A business can either be a registered sole trader or a registered company and must be trading in Central Bedfordshire. In addition we will use the following criteria to assess your suitability:

  • A minimum of £50k of turnover in the last financial year, or
  • At least £1k of operating profit before interest and tax (PBIT) in the last financial year, or
  • A 10% increase in Turnover over the last 3 years, or
  • A 10% increase in the number of employees in the last 3 years
