"The Innovation Day 2010 was an inspiring, high energy, high quality day that lived up to its promise. The speakers and workshops were both excellent and challenging, covering a range of innovation related topics of interest to everyone who attended. They were thought-provoking and informative and set my mind running on various possibilities for my business.
For me the “star turns of the show” were Professor Alan Barrell’s Keynote speech on Open Innovation and Lawrence Lartey’s workshop on mobile applications. I was also very impressed by the pitch from the winning entry of the iFactor awards, and Roman Latypov himself. Overall it was an excellent event that kept me buzzing for a good while afterwards."

In December last year (2009) Pictons attained ISO 14001 accreditation for our Luton office. One of the reasons for exhibiting today is to promote the fact that we have attained such a prestigious accreditation.
14001 is the international standard for the creation of an Environmental Management System and is considered the benchmark environmental standard. It is not an accreditation which is normally associated with law firms and we believe that we are the first law firm in the region to achieve such a status.
By gaining 14001 it sends a message to the many businesses in the Bedfordshire region that are constantly being squeezed by environmental legislation that we understand the challenges facing them on a daily basis.
People have been very interested in what we are doing so it has been a great day."
