CLE Professional Development Workshops 2012

Here you will find the dates and details of the CLE’s professional development workshops. Most sessions will run at least twice during the course of the academic year. Download the summary of the schedule - PDF 25.6 KB for the whole year.

Should there be a particular demand for other topics as the year progresses or for repeat sessions, then further sessions will be added to the programme and these advertised. If you have any ideas for sessions that are not on the schedule, then contact cle@beds.ac.uk.

The workshop titles listed below link through to further details (including an overview, intended outcomes and any pre-preparation recommended) listed on a monthly basis below. Most are offered in face-to-face mode and are supported by online resources to reinforce the workshop material. The workshops are normally open to all staff and research students, unless stated otherwise in the individual descriptions.

Most sessions are held at the CLE, D000s, Park Square, Luton with a few scheduled at Polhill, Putteridge Bury and Aylesbury. Staff from the CLE are very happy however, to work closely with individual faculties, departments, partner colleges, course teams and other groups where needs have been identified locally. Should this be the case, please  contact lesley.lawrence@beds.ac.uk

Booking your place

To book a place on any of the advertised sessions, please login to BREO, then click on CLE Professional Workshops and simply follow the instructions. Workshops will run provided we have six booked on any given session. We will get in touch to remind you of your workshops and should there be any likelihood of a session not being held.
