CIFs and UIFs

Course Information Forms (CIFs) and Unit Information Forms (UIFs)

The University uses templates to provide specifications for courses and units. These incorporate key elements of CRe8. All courses have a CIF and all units a UIF and provide part of our contract with students and meet the requirements of the QAA that all courses have a 'programme specification'. If you're teaching on a University course or unit then you must use the forms relevant to your teaching as key reference documents. Guidance on the completion of the CIF and UIF are available at www.beds.ac.uk/aboutus/quality/approvals.

Sessions on completing CIFs and UIFs as part of the staff development programme. Members of the CLE will also provide support (contact Lesley Lawrence lesley.lawrence@beds.ac.uk). Colleagues in your department will be able to provide additional help.
