Luton’s favourite female group, Voices with Soul, paid a visit to the crew at Luton FM this week to talk about their time on hit TV show, the X Factor, and their plans for the future.
Mum Hildia, along with daughter Corene and sister Grace, dropped in to the Luton FM studio in the University of Luton to take part in the ‘Dave and Stu’ lunchtime show.
“It was great to have them on our show,” said a very excited Stu Pinfold. “They told us all about their experience at the hands of Simon Cowell on the X Factor, their new album and how well things had been going for them since the competition.”
Corene who is studying for a degree in business at the University said: “It was great to be invited in for an interview. I got the chance to show my Mum and Aunt where I study. They were quite surprised at how big the University was.”
The band will be hitting the road on 1 June with fellow X Factor finalists G4, for their UK and Ireland tour. The tour will take them to London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and across the Irish sea to Belfast and Dublin.
The trio was presented with ‘I love Luton’ badges by the Luton FM team to remind them of their home town on their travels. Hildia said: “ We are very proud of our Luton roots and we will wear our badges with pride!”
