Nick and Max with fake money

Two entrepreneurial Accounting students from the University of Bedfordshire have become virtual millionaires, trading currency on virtual online trading website bullbearings.co.uk

Top traders, Max Kriveshko and Nick Smironov started off with £100,000 worth of virtual cash and have turned it into several million pounds in just a couple of months.

The students were researching information for their course when they found the site and decided to have a go.

Max said: There is a lot of luck in the game, but there is also skill and research involved.

We have made a profit of more than £4m, which would have been a nice Christmas present if it was for real.

“The site is good fun, but I think I’d need to brush up on my trading skills before investing any real money.”
