Former students of the University of Bedfordshire (including the former University of Luton and De Montfort University’s Bedford campus) are invited to sample the best of local beer at Wells and Young’s brewery in Bedford.
Organised by the University’s Alumni Office, the event is open to all former students who would like to meet up with old friends and enjoy an evening of fine beer and conversation at one of the country’s top brewers.
Guests will be given a guided tour of the brewery which now combines many years of expertise from both Charles Wells and Youngs, resulting in top quality cask beers such as Wells Bombardier and Young’s Bitter.
After the tour their will be an opportunity to sample some of the beer during a well-deserved tasting session and light supper.
The evening gets under way at 6.30pm on Thursday 27 September. The tour, tasting session and supper costs £15 per person.
