The winners with Head of Accounting and Finance, Rob Carman

Chinese students at the University of Bedfordshire have been proving they are top of their class when it comes to their accounting studies.

Three students from Beijing received certificates of achievement for outstanding academic work. The accounting students, who all come from the International College Beijing (ICB), were presented with their certificates at a special conference, which was attended by accounting firms from around the UK.

The University of Bedfordshire recently signed a deal with ICB, where students study for a year in Beijing before completing two years at Bedfordshire.

Rob Carman, Head of the Division of Accounting and Finance, said: “The students from ICB have performed very well. This is the first group of students on the exchange programme and they are very conscientious and dedicated to their studies. Studying so far from home can be difficult for some, but they have focused on their studies and achieved high marks.”

The top three students, Na Zhang, Nan Dong and Ling Miao were presented with certificates and £20 book vouchers.
