To promote and introduce entrepreneurship the University of Bedfordshire's Knowledge Hub runs a series of free lectures called the ‘Basics of Building a Business’.

The programme runs throughout the academic year and is open to all staff and students, researchers, academics and private citizens of the town and region.

The B3 Lectures:

  • Explore the real issues involved in starting your business
  • Are uniquely delivered by successful entrepreneurs
  • Provide an invaluable insight into building a business from people who are ‘doing it’, rather than just talking about it!

The series of lectures are specifically designed and targeted at those who want to:

  • Find out about entrepreneurship and determine if it's for them
  • Learn how to start a business by developing basic business skills
  • Gain practical experience of turning an idea into a business
