Spring is in the air and the University of Bedfordshire’s choir will be celebrating the beginning of the season with a special spring concert with a West End theme, on 7 March.
Songs will be performed from the ABBA-inspired musical, Mamma Mia, including ‘Thank You for the Music’, ‘Money Money Money’ and ‘Super Trouper’, as well as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ from the musical We Will Rock You, based on the songs of Queen. Fans of choral composer Michael Hurd can also hear the delightful ‘Music’s Praise’.
The concert will be held at All Saints Church, Shaftesbury Road, Luton, and gets underway at 8pm. Tickets cost £8 (£6 concessions) and are available on the door, from the Library Theatre or the Hat Factory Box Office on 01582 547474.
