For one graduate of the University of Bedfordshire, last week’s degree ceremony was an opportunity to make a special presentation to the Vice Chancellor.
Shortly before receiving
his own scroll, Daniel Sanni, who studied for an MSc International Business and
Management, presented an African artefact to Professor Les Ebdon.
He said: “Myself and several other alumni in Nigeria believe that the Vice Chancellor merits a recognition award, and we were pleased to be supported in this by Ovation, a magazine that celebrates great African achievers as well as friends of Africa.”
Professor Ebdon told Daniel he was privileged and
honoured to receive the award.
He said: “It has pride of place in my office and is frequently commented on by my visitors.”
