Fashion and fine art are mixing as the University of Bedfordshire opens its doors to the public.
The Art and Design Degree Show on Thursday night (11 June) was a success with the University’s partner colleges and the local business community joining friends and family of the students along with ex-students.
As well as the Graduate Fashion Show, graduates’ work in disciplines such as fine art, graphic design, animation, fashion, photography and interior design was also showcased.
The event, creatively titled ‘...’ was the start of a fortnight-long open show which runs until Friday, 26 June. This is open to the public daily from 10am-5pm and is also free of charge.
John Stephens, Head of the Division of Art and Design at the University, said: “The opening night was a great success and since then there has been a steady stream of visitors. We’d really like more people to come while we’re open to see what amazingly creative people our students are.”
