Symphonia Academica invite you to the final concert in this season's University of Bedfordshire Concert Series. The orchestra return for their annual visit to the ‘Arts In Flitwick’ festival to perform in the popular Rufus Centre, in the heart of rural Bedfordshire.
The orchestra is joined by Caroline Moore, the principle trumpet of the BBC Concert Orchestra, to perform Neruda’s dazzling Trumpet Concerto. The music menu will also include the tranquil 'Prayer of St Gregory' by Alan Hovhaness, Gershwin's evocative 'Summertime', salon pieces by Elgar, Mendelssohn's 'String Symphony in B minor' together with a humorous reflection on the 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik'! What better way to spend a summer’s evening?
