Local companies are invited to the University of Bedfordshire on 10 June to update their knowledge of current technology and gain practical tips to benefit their business.
The University’s business members networking group, the Knowledge Network, is offering a glimpse into the technological world via local IT solutions expert Derrick Cameron, who will be guest speaker at the network’s next event.
Derrick Cameron is the MD of Eximium, an innovative IT solutions provider based in Luton, and his unique vision is one of businesses powered by flexible, practical and simple IT concepts. He holds both the 2009 Bright Sparc Technology Entrepreneur of the Year and the 2009 Business for Breakfast Executive Host of the Year awards.
Derrick will be discussing how to make the most of current technology including social networking tools; ensuring your website is up to scratch; getting maximum benefit from business software applications; and managing technological change in your business effectively.
Gary Kirby, Knowledge Network Manager, said: “The event will help businesses gain a better understanding of the current trends in business IT and identify ways to use IT more effectively. It will also encourage delegates to discover technology that could make a big difference to the way they work and enable them to further exploit their potential.”
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session. The admission cost of £18 includes wine, a finger buffet and a networking opportunity.
