As part of the 2009-10 seminar series within the Department of Strategy and Human Resource Management, Professor Stephen J. Perkins will this month lead a discussion on his intellectual journey under the rubric of 'Braverman, Mills and me' - exploring theoretical and practical developments around the 'management of managers'. Using a research article on which he is lead author as a working example ('Ordering Top Pay: Interpreting the Signals', published in the Journal of Management Studies), Prof. Perkins will then facilitate a working session on practical issues around publishing research within top rated refereed academic journals.
