Bedford is the place to be tomorrow (Saturday) if you’re a dance fan – and the University of Bedfordshire is joining in the fun.

The third annual Dance4All event is based at Bedford Corn Exchange and is aimed at all ages with the University promoting its dance and performing arts courses as well as the new evening school which started this month.

Run by Bedford Borough Council’s Sports Development Unit, there will be a number of stalls plus performances, demonstrations and workshops throughout the day which starts at 11am.

Third year BA (Hons) Dance and Professional Practice students will be the University’s ambassadors.

James Hewison, their course leader and senior lecturer, said: “It’s a marketplace for everyone involved with dance in Bedford.

“It’s open to everybody and as the University for the town, it’s vital we have a presence there and spread the word. This is our first involvement in Dance4All and hopefully it’s something which should continue.”
