Television celebrity and aspiring politician Esther Rantzen paid a fact-finding mission to the University of Bedfordshire’s main Luton campus this week.
Esther met with the University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Les Ebdon CBE, before visiting the Media Arts and Production department on Tuesday morning.
She said: “My visit was really to get a flavour of what the University is offering students, what sort of student population there is here and the atmosphere of the place generally.
“It was extremely lively and I loved it, especially the social space around the main reception! It was really interesting and I thought the visit went really well.
“It would be good to find out the issues students are facing and I’d particularly like to have further contact with the social work students.”
