The University has launched its new Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Practitioner Certificate aimed at organisations or individuals seeking to manage change.
MSP is a methodology that comprises a set of principles and processes for use when managing a programme. Programme Management is a management approach for bringing together people, activities and information to achieve a significant business change, and is a framework for setting up and running a programme or portfolio of projects.
The five-day course, which is ideal for key decision-makers involved in programme management and senior managers involved in transformational change, is part of the accredited project management training available though the University’s Knowledge Hub.
The training will provide delegates with a realistic and practical opportunity to develop good practice enabling them to successfully deliver transformational change. Topics covered include governance, transformational flow process and managing transition.
Delegates will undertake a multiple choice exam at the end of the third day to gain the Foundation Certificate, followed by a scenario-based exam at the end of day five for the Practitioner qualification. On successful completion, delegates will receive the internationally recognised MSP qualification, accredited by the APM Group.
The intensive course is delivered between Monday and Friday at the University’s Putteridge Bury Conference Centre near Luton.
The cost of the course is £1595.00 + VAT which includes course materials, exam fees, refreshments and lunch. There is an introductory discount of ten per cent for the first course in November.
