It’s not too late to study part-time at the University of Bedfordshire – that’s the message from Head of Admissions Susie King.
The University is hosting two open evenings next week to showcase the options available to those hoping to find a part-time place this year.
Susie said: “More than 40 per cent of our students are 25 or over and we offer various part-time and flexible study options for many of our degree courses.
“Many of our courses are vocational which can help increase employability. We also have various routes of entry that take into account previous experience and a wide variety of qualifications. It’s not too late to start this term.”
The University of Bedfordshire is going from strength to strength. It has seen a massive 29 per cent increase in applications to UCAS this year.
It leapt an impressive 18 places in The Times Good University Guide 2010 making it the highest climbing institution in the UK. It has also been rated second in the UK for Marketing and for Journalism, third for Complementary Medicine and fourth for Human Resource Management, according to the National Student Survey 2009.
A limited number of places is still available in accounting, business, computing, construction, continuing professional development including education and health, design, media, music technology, science and sport.
To find out more, visit the University’s part-time open evening on Wednesday, 16 September at the Bedford Campus from 6pm to 8pm. Or drop in to the Luton Campus on Thursday, 17 September from 6pm to 8pm.
