Trevor Baylis’ first claim to fame was inventing the wind-up radio and he presented one of the first radios to Nelson Mandela. Since then he has invented and marketed a whole range of successful products.

Now, the world-famous inventor is coming to the University of Bedfordshire’s Knowledge Network event on 29 September to speak about overcoming barriers in business and to pass on some top tips.

Trevor’s talk - ‘Invent and Innovate to Survive’ - will take place at the University’s Putteridge Bury campus in Luton. Local businesses and entrepreneurs are invited to attend.

As well as Trevor’s presentation, the evening will feature news from the Knowledge Network, a question and answer session, and the opportunity to network with other businesses.

The Knowledge Network offers business-led events throughout the year designed to encourage regional business growth and support the local economy, while creating networking opportunities for local businesses.
