Staff have entered a rounders league to support the University’s Healthy Campus initiative.
Run by Team Beds and Luton as part of its Get Back Into campaign, the league has eight teams from a variety of groups. These include local businesses and also a number of teachers, many of whom are University of Bedfordshire graduates.
The Bedfordshire team is called University Challenged and is captained by Jo Richards with over 15 staff members from various departments involved. The team has won one and lost one game so far.
If you are interested in joining the fun or just want to come and support the team, games are being played at Russell Park in Bedford every Monday evening throughout the summer holidays.
