The old timers are even flying in from the other side of the world for the seventh annual Students’ Union Reunion in Luton!
The event on Saturday, 6 March, is aimed at former students, staff and indeed anyone who has socialised at the Students’ Union in Vicarage Street over the years. More than 300 people are expected from all over the UK and the world.
The now annual fancy dress theme is Something beginning with ‘s’ this year and will involve people dressing up as anything or anyone beginning with the letter ‘s’.
This is to celebrate the last reunion to be held at the Sub Club before the move to the new Campus Centre which opens later this year.
Event organiser and former University of Luton Students’ Union (ULSU) President Nathan Spencer said: “This year will be a very special and emotional reunion as it will be our last chance to party in the Sub Club.

“We’re expecting another bumper crowd, with people who left Luton as far back as 2000 planning to attend, and some travelling here from as far away as New Zealand!
“The fancy dress theme always adds a lot of fun to the event. We always get some very original costumes and we’re expecting more than just a room full of Supermen and Sandy from Grease!”
Open to staff as well as current students, it is an opportunity to catch up with friends that have moved away in recent years.
