The coveted title of Miss Bedfordshire 2010 is being sought by both staff and students of the University.
Rebecca Grant-Jones and Charlotte Sankar are just two of the finalists for Miss Bedfordshire which is taking place in The Rose Marquee at Luton Rugby Club this Sunday (20 June). The winner will go through to represent the county in the Miss England finals.
Rebecca is the new Events and Communications Administrator at the University who is hoping to do even better than last year.
She is being sponsored by the University itself after reaching the last eight of the Miss Bedfordshire finals in 2009.

Rebecca from Kempston, who turned 23 on Friday (11 June), said: “I’ve managed to build up a portfolio of work since last year’s competition and it was a good opportunity to network. It was great fun last year and I hope to go even further in the competition this time.”
And a student at the University, Charlotte, is also in the finals this weekend. Charlotte is from Leicester and was staying in student halls at Luton while in her first year of a degree in Psychology and Criminal Behaviour.
The 19 year old is being sponsored by G Casino in Luton at the competition.
