Grab a seat and tuck in as a guest of Hardeep Singh Kohli next week at the University of Bedfordshire.
The celebrated broadcaster, raconteur, writer and cook is coming to the Bedford campus on Wednesday (10 March) as he combines comedy with inventive cuisine in a wonderfully funny, laidback evening’s entertainment.
Having debuted at the 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where the show played to sell-out audiences, this is an extended, two-course version of The Nearly Naked Chef, combining more of the Glaswegian Sikh’s winning talents and recipes.
Hardeep is a frequent guest on BBC 1’s Question Time, This Week with Andrew Neil and was a former Newsnight Review presenter and a regular face on the successful BBC1 programme The One Show.
He was runner-up on the first series of Celebrity Masterchef which led to two series for UKTV Food, New British Kitchen and Chefs and the City.
Hardeep is just one of the acts attracted to the first ever professional season at the University of Bedfordshire Theatre.
Tickets are £10 (£5 concessions, including students in full-time education) and the performance starts at 7.30pm.
Further details are available online at www.beds.ac.uk/theatre or by calling 0800 3285334, and all email enquiries can be directed to theatre@beds.ac.uk
