Dancers are being encouraged to experience high-level workshops at the University of Bedfordshire this half term.
The University’s Dance Summer School is a series of day-long workshops with internationally renowned contemporary dance practitioners from 31 May – 4 June (10am-4pm daily) at the Bedford campus.
Each workshop begins with a technique class followed by an exploration of repertory and a creative/choreographic workshop. They are aimed at talented dancers aged 16 and over.
Costs are £25 per workshop (concessions) and £45 full price. You can pay by calling 0800 3285334, quoting ‘Dance Summer School’.
There will also be two stand-alone workshops in Dance Writing and Criticism and Dance Photography.
All the workshops are supported by CARD (Centre for Applied Research in Dance) and Excellence East.
