More than 100 international students from the University of Bedfordshire received a warm welcome at the International Welcome Party.
Vice Chancellor Professor Les Ebdon CBE DL welcomed everyone to the party which saw students perform a variety of acts including a fashion show, singing performances, traditional dances and solo performances from Chinese, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Arabic cultures.
Half way through the evening, a traditional buffet was served with a disco shortly after, where students danced the night away.
Harry Wang, Director of the International Office said: "Everyone had a great night of celebrating the rich cultures and talents among our students. All the performances were well received and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
More international celebrations are planned for next year, with the Chinese New Year Party taking place on Saturday, 14 January 2012. An International Student Party is planned for March 2012.
