More than 150 guests danced the night away at the Bedfordshire Grand Summer Ball in aid of the University of Bedfordshire’s Scholarships and Bursaries Fund.

Hosted by the University in the grounds of the beautiful Putteridge Bury campus, the sold-out event is one of the most prestigious in the county’s calendar.

The University’s Vice Chancellor Professor Les Ebdon CBE and Chairman of the University’s Development Board Derek Ludlow CBE welcomed guests from far and wide in a marquee sponsored by London Luton Airport.

The ball helped boost the Scholarships and Bursaries Fund to £20,000 with the Silent Auction proving a popular fundraiser with bids for a Porsche driving experience, luxury Spa day in London and a Center Parcs holiday.

If you would like to be part of the University’s success contact Greg White who is heading up the Development and Alumni Relations team on 01582 489191 or email makeadifference@beds.ac.uk.
