A fashion show this weekend involving staff and students from the University of Bedfordshire will make you green with envy.
The Eco Couture Fashion Show in Luton is organised by MIGHTY which delivers programmes for young people aged 10-25, working with designer Marsha Edwards.
It is also a fundraiser for Keech Hospice Care for adults and children through a grand prize raffle and it is taking place at the UK Centre for Carnival Arts in St Mary’s Road on Saturday (12 March) night.
The quartet of student models from the University are Shauna Anika Hall, who is studying for a Health and Social Care degree; AJ Bediako (Media Performance); Donelle Dey (Criminology); and Leopard-Marie Johnson (Media Performance).
Also modelling is Rebecca Grant-Jones, the University’s Events and Communications Administrator who works within the MARC department.
Tickets are £10 for adults (£5 concessions) on the door but £8 for adults in advance. Raffle tickets are five for £2 – all proceeds are going to Keech Hospice Care for adults and children.
Doors open at 6.45pm and the show starts at 7.15pm. As well as the fashion and the prize draw, there are also refreshments and the chance to network.
