Have you got any burning horticultural questions?

Well now’s your chance to get them answered, as BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time springs into action at the University of Bedfordshire on Monday, 6th July, starting at 5.30pm.

The entertainment show will plant its recording equipment in the University Theatre at the Bedford campus, with Eric Robson, Bunny Guinness, Anne Swithinbank and Matthew Wilson making up the panel. The show has grown to over two million weekly listeners and has answered over 30,000 questions since its inception in 1947.

The recording stems from last year’s successful The Kitchen Cabinet event, which saw Multimedia Journalism student Leanne Clarke blossom her Radio LaB experience by working as a runner on the BBC show.

This time around, three students are set to be afforded similar opportunities – Broadcast Journalism student Bene Cooke and Performing Arts and English pair Heather Bonner and Janis Abols – ensuring they are well prepared for the world of work when they leave university.

Tickets to join the audience, pose your questions to the experts and flower your knowledge are priced at just £4.50 (£3 concessions) and can be ordered by emailing boxoffice@beds.ac.uk or phoning 01234 793197.
