Desmond Kapofu is a Lecturer in Operations Management at the University of Bedfordshire. He also lectures on the Core Business Programme in year 1 and Business Advances which is a Research Methods unit in year 3. Prior to joining the University of Bedfordshire Desmond was studying for a PhD in Operations Management at the University of Bradford School of Management.
In terms of research, Desmond has an interest in helping organisations improve their operational efficiency by aligning their operational activities with their knowledge management strategies. He developed a Knowledge Management Assessment tool during his PhD study and has an interest in further developing it through widespread application. Further to this, Desmond is interested in Supply Chain Management having done some research in the area at postgraduate level.
