Senior Lecturer
Usha is a Senior Lecturer in the department of Business Systems. Prior to joining Bedfordshire University Business School, she held a number of teaching positions in the UK, India and in the Sultanate of Oman.
Usha is a Chartered Member of Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK. Usha is interested in conducting case–study based research with companies operating in the UK and India. She has examined and analysed supply chain collaboration practices and their impacts on performance of organisations.
Usha’s research interest lies in the area of supply chain modelling and analysis in businesses particular to the soft-drinks, the packaging, the hotel and the textile sectors. She is also studying customer buying pattern and behaviour of the UK retail stores.
She has published in leading journals such as Omega: the International Journal of Management Science, International Journal of Production Economics, Benchmarking: An International Journal, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management, and International Journal of Production and Operations Management.
She has acted as a reviewer for articles submitted for publication in International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Contemporary Hospitality Management, Omega, and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal.
