The Centre for Advances in Marketing (CIM) held a seminar on 11 May 2011 on the subject of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The first presenter was Linda Deigh, a staff member, carrying out a doctoral study into CSR in financial services in developing countries. Linda is being supervised by Professor Jillian Farquhar and Dr Carmine de Vita.
The second presenter, Jose Ma Talavera Garcia, is a visiting scholar from the University of Granada who is also studying CSR in financial services in the region of Granada in Spain. Jose spent a few weeks at the Business School pursuing his research with the centre's experts in the area.
